  1. Evening Water Fitness classes and Evening Lap Swimming at Sams Pool

    Evening Water Fitness classes and Evening Lap Swimming at Gonzalez Pool is scheduled to begin on August 7th, 2017. Water Fitness classes include Aqua Zumba and Water Aerobics. The classes are held Monday - Thursday at 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm and at 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm. The cost of admission is $2 per class.   4. Keep Brownsville Beautiful Resaca Clean Up at Event Center

    This resaca clean up is a community effort held at various resacas with our community, designed to beautify and help bring the community together and reinforces our commitment to preserving the value of our resacas. Volunteers will be meeting at their designed location among the three selected areas at 9 am and will commence with collecting litter, piling brush, and beautifying designated areas selected for this clean up. This event is scheduled to come to its end at 1 pm.
